Create a 20x15-meter (22x16-yard) rectangle with the markers. Place two mini goals in the middle of the two short sides facing each other. Near the mini goals create two small areas of 4x5 meters/yards. Create with two poles a 4-meter/yard gate centrally about 5 meters/yards away from one of the two side lines of the field (long sides of the playing rectangle). Divide the players into two teams of five each. The defenders (red) stand in a line with one ball each in the middle of the long side farthest from the central mini goal created with the posts. The forwards (whites) position themselves in a row halfway down the opposite long side. Starting positions of the two rows of players marked with two cones.
- Player A (red defender) makes a low pass through the small goal to player B (white attacker)
- Player B, attacking the ball, controls and guides it by crossing with the ball the goal in front of them (the one formed by the poles)
- After going past the poles, B decides which side mini goal to attack while A tries to counter them by preventing the goal. A 1 v 1 situation is created
After each series swap the teams roles.
- Player B (attacker) can only score in the goal that is attacked from inside the area delimited by the markers (from inside the penalty area)
- If defender A recovers the ball, they can go and score in the opposite mini goal (with B becoming a defender) always with the obligation to kick from inside the area delimited by the markers
- Each goal in the mini goals is worth one point
- The team with the most points at the end of the series wins
Attacking player:
- In the 1 v 1 it is important to have an offensive attitude, leading the ball at speed but always keeping it under control with safe impacts
- Detect the opponent's weak side
- Evading the opponent's intervention with quick choices and counter-movements
- Also work on the defensive phase in case the defending opponent steals the ball (quick transitions)
Defending player:
- Always be ready to place yourself between the opponent, the ball and the center of the goal by shortening the marking distance as the area becomes more dangerous
- Try to take the opponent to the outermost and least dangerous areas by identifying his weak side and trying to influence their movements accordingly
- Restart with a fast attacking action in the case of winning the ball
