Form a 21x21-meter (23x23-yard) play square with the markers. Mark off two areas about 3 meters/yards wide along two opposite sides of each other. So there will be a central possession rectangle of 21x15 meters plus two adjacent outside corridors 3 meters/yards wide (as in the picture). Form two goals about 2 meters/yards wide with the goalposts in the middle of the short sides of the central playing rectangle (as in the picture). Divide the players into two teams of five members each. Eight players (four per team) are stationed inside the central rectangle while one player per team is positioned in the side areas (one in the right aisle and one in the left aisle).
- The game is developed as a 4-on-4 ball possession within the central rectangle with finishing in the two goals
- Players inside the field pass the ball a certain number of times (compulsorily using the flanks) before they can shoot at goal
- The objective is to make five consecutive passes without interception by the opponents also involving the banks, before being able to finish in the two goals
- After executing the five passes, the outside bank can enter the central playing rectangle by participating in possession in a 5 v 4 numerical superiority situation with the aim of scoring in one of the two goals. When the game action is over, the side bank re-enters the side area
- With each series, the players stationed in the side areas are changed
After 2 consecutive flanks, the fifth player enters the square for a 5-on-4 with finishing
- Players in the side zones play as banks and cannot enter the zone of possession unless they have first made at least two passes with teammates and the team has made at least five consecutive passes without an opponent's interception
- After two passes, the flank player enters the central zone and turns the game into a 5 v 4
- Players from both teams can score in each of the goals
- If the ball is recovered while playing the 5 v 4, the bank player must regain their place on the sideline as quickly as possible
- The five consecutive passes counting the two ball transmissions with the flank players are worth one point
- The goal is worth one point
- Increase or decrease the size of the field according to the age and ability of the players
- Remove goals and focus only on ball possession
- Leave players who play as flanks always on the outside, preventing them from entering the central playing rectangle
- In younger age groups, the game teaches movement according to the position of the teammate
- Players who act as backs must constantly follow the action by trying to be in line with the ball and ready to receive the pass in the free zone
- Retention of the ball is critical to build effective play action
- Always try to ensure as many passing lines as possible to the ball carrier
- Continuous mobility and unmarking encourage more passing solutions
- Ensure balanced field distribution during the possession phase
