Prepare a rectangle of 20x10 meters/22x11 yards using four cones. At 3 meters from the two starting cones (orange in the picture) place two markers. Players arrange themselves in two rows divided into groups of three components each behind the starting cones. Players in row A start with the ball.
- Player A starts off running with the ball to the marker in front of player B, while B sprints to the cone opposite to their starting position, going around it
- A passes the ball to player B
- Player B performs an oriented control and in conduction reaches the front marker to A's starting position, while player A sprints to the front cone going around it
- B passes the ball to player A
- A gives the ball back to player B with one touch
- A sprints to where B started and vice versa; the two players reverse their starting positions
- Repeat the exercise during the whole series
- Adapt the size of the field to the players' abilities
- Pass number 2 to be made by simulating a throw-in with subsequent oriented control by the receiving player
- Encourage players to maintain high tempo within the drill with quality and speed of passing
- The ball receiving foot should be slightly relaxed, cushioning the impact with the ball for better oriented control
- Remind players that body movement following oriented control should go to protect the ball from possible opponent intervention
- Pay attention to the distance and direction of the supporting foot from the ball during passing
- The player, while executing the pass, must close the gesture after hitting the ball by accompanying the ball trajectory with the movement of the leg
